POSITION SUMMARY

 

Maintenance Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating all maintenance activities for LA Valley & COI facilities and ensure that all the requests and inquiries are properly communicated, fulfilled, and documented under company and government’s guidelines

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Provides daily support to Maintenance, Planning and Operations personnel and Contractors using the SAP PM Module                                                     Acts as the principal contact between Maintenance Department and other departments support by Maintenance                                                         Maintains backlog of work orders for pending scheduling in accordance with their priority limits and   prepares weekly backlog report                                                   Screen each work order to see that it has been properly filled out, discuss the details with the originating department, and ensure that the work scope is clearly described, that is properly authorized, and the priority or requested completion date is realistic                                                        Opens, updates, and closes out Work Orders/ Notifications as required                                                Work in AMMS and SAP PM for the creation and modification of Maintenance Plans, Work Schedules, Notifications and Work Orders along with other transactions in support of all activities for the plants Creates queries, variants, reports, refinery/ circuit KPIs and PM documentation to support various department requests and audits                                                 Creates and schedules Recurring Preventative Maintenance Tasks (Work Orders) for Process and Maintenance Shops, including periodic changes                                                           In accordance with standard procedure, provides all documents required for work order closeout and filing                                                         Strict adherence to FDA regulations as well as corporate safety policies for procedures, practices and documentation                   Resolve Purchase Order Commitment discrepancy with Account Payable as it occurs                                                  Creates annual Continuing Service (Blanket) Work Orders

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred 2 years experience in a fast-paced facilities or operation environment; experience with cGMP’s is a plus Basic understanding of cGMPs, FDA regulations, and industry guidelines.  Ability to keep neat, accurate and complete records and logs.  Must be proactive, results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle an ever changing, fast paced critical work environment.  Good organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English language Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner.  Good computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft programs, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. is a plus.  

 

Occupational Demands : Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck and waist. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Drives: varies may or may be required to frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Frequently performs tasks by following a set of written or oral instructions/procedures.

The estimated pay scale for the Maintenance Coordinator role based in Los Angeles, CA, is $21 - $23 per hour. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
