Position Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on all shop equipment, tools, and facility systems at Triad Fabricator’s fabrication and machines shops. This position requires hands-on mechanical and electrical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage maintenance operations in a busy fabrication environment.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities                                  

Supervise and perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of shop equipment, machinery, welding systems, CNC machines. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, including control panels, motors, wiring, air systems, and automated shop equipment. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records for all assets. Manage and direct third-party service providers, ensuring safe and efficient work practices. Support operations by ensuring critical equipment remains operational and downtime is minimized. Work closely with shop management to prioritize repairs. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations. Maintain parts inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or services. Provide technical support and training for other team members as needed.
