**Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator responsible for creating and communicating work orders based on maintenance requests, planned maintenance, and preventative maintenance schedules for a packaging company specializing in medical device products. This role involves assisting maintenance mechanics, reporting progress on completed work orders, and managing parts ordering. The position requires proficiency with machinery such as lathes and involves reporting and auditing work using Excel and CMMS systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure machine downtime is less than 3%.
+ Assist with repairs, modifications, and upgrades to equipment across all departments.
+ Coordinate the completion of the autonomous maintenance program.
+ Implement new equipment and processes.
+ Utilize mechanical knowledge to recommend efficiency improvements.
+ Track uptime versus downtime.
+ Apply process and equipment knowledge to improve uptime percentage.
+ Coordinate the PM Program.
+ Maintain minimum inventory levels.
**Essential Skills**
+ Preventive maintenance
+ Industrial maintenance
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Hydraulics knowledge
+ Ability to coordinate maintenance programs
+ Experience with SAP, inventory management, and purchase orders
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
+ Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of pneumatics, including air compressors, dryers, valves, and air cylinders
+ Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
+ Experience with machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, band saws, and drill presses
+ Welding skills, including gas, arc, and TIG welding

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
