Maintenance/Controls Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance/Controls Technician** Job Description The Maintenance/Controls Technician will be responsible for maintaining all automated equipment and assisting in the creation of report documentation for predictive and preventative maintenance. The role involves sourcing and ordering components for equipment when there is a fault in machinery. Additionally, this technician will develop a preventative maintenance standard operating procedure (SOP) to anticipate and mitigate equipment downtime. Responsibilities + Maintain all automated equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Create and update report documentation for predictive and preventative maintenance. + Source and order components for equipment repairs. + Develop and implement a preventative maintenance SOP to predict and prevent equipment downtime. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. + Conduct PLC troubleshooting and debugging. + Utilize blueprints and engineering documentation for maintenance tasks. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. + Experience with PLC control, particularly Allen-Bradley systems. + Knowledge of maintenance repair and installation processes. + Understanding of conveyer systems and industrial maintenance. + Strong skills in electronics and mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechatronics Degree preferred. + Experience with PLC debugging and troubleshooting. + Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance reporting. Work Environment Work in an assembly-type environment with metal detectors and screening prior to entering the facility. No personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The warehouse is temperature-controlled to ensure a comfortable working atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
