JBS is seeking an hourly Maintenance Clerk 1st Shift Team Member! Position starts at $22 per hour based on experience.

Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for receiving and stocking machine parts for production in correct locationsTracks all PM-based job plans and manage PM backlogDocument all PM’s and monitor through completion Ensures parts, materials, and tools are appropriately requisitioned and available to complete planned jobsWorks with Manager of Maintenance, Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance team to support plant reliability and mechanical integrity programsTracks and reports on appropriate metrics to monitor and improve maintenance performance and plant reliabilityAssists with planning/scheduling effort for major plant turn-around and equipment overhauls.Works additional hours to support annual turn-aroundKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to type 35wpm and data entryAbility to learn computerized inventory systemsAbility to understand facility terminology when needed to issue or order partsPerform accurate cycle counts to maintain correct inventory levelsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications
High School DiplomaAbility to speak, read, and write English LanguageMust be able to work Saturdays and Sundays if neededAdaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with othersDemonstrated ability to drive results in Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostChange agent skills must motivate and inspire others to see the company mission and visionExceptional interpersonal, organizational and leadership skillsAbility to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization, from the floor to the executive leadership team1 Year Maintenance Background preferredStrong Problem-Solving skills
Work Environment
ACTIVITIES: Very active position, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
HEARING: Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
REPETITIVE MOTION: Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers.
VISUAL ABILITIES: Acute close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds throughout the day.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays.
