**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining small buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. Additionally, you will assist with office relocations, assemble office furniture at various locations, and deliver office supplies to local facilities.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain facilities and grounds.
+ Operate company box trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently.
+ Relocate client office equipment and materials to designated locations.
+ Complete and close service tickets using the Novolo system.
+ Assemble and install office furniture in accordance with specifications.
+ Utilize material handling equipment, such as dollies, to ensure safe transport of items.
+ Deliver office supplies and equipment to multiple project sites.
+ Maintain effective communication using a company-issued mobile device.
+ Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
+ Ensure all permits and licenses are maintained and up to date.
+ Plan, organize, and control the day-to-day operations of the department.
+ Establish and communicate the level of quality and safety expected in the performance of maintenance tasks.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Must have a valid drivers license
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
