**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Assistant, you will assist with engineering operations alongside a team of technicians, vendors, and subcontractors. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
+ Review work orders and resolve issues.
+ Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
+ Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
+ Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of 2 two years of related experience and/or training.
+ Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and confidence to ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
+ Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
+ Ability to effectively present information to an internal department/ colleagues.
+ Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.
+ Warm and engaging demeanor.
+ Basic analytical skills and understanding of financial terms and principles.
+ Capability of understanding and following general instructions and ability to solve problems.
+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word and Outlook.
+ Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more.
+ Decision-making ability with a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve goals and deadlines.
+ Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Assistant position is $45,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Assistant position is $50,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience
