STARTING WAGES Contact the Restaurant for wage details. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently. This person must have an eye for detail, as this role requires multiple cleaning tasks. While not required, it would be preferred that the person is mechanically inclined, as minor repairs may be necessary. The work environment is fast-paced and requires you to be on your feet for your entire shift. You may need to multitask at times and work effectively under pressure. This role is vital in the restaurant because you will directly impact: + The quality of products served + The service provided + The cleanliness experienced by both external and internal customers To be successful in this position, you’ll need: + To be self-motivated + Have a humble and hospitable demeanor, as you will work with a variety of personalities + Desire to learn + Ability to communicate effectively + To be comfortable with ladders and working at higher levels of elevation + Have reliable transportation + To be able to lift up to 50 pounds + To work with equipment that generates significant heat (i.e., fryers) + Understand and follow all Health and Safety regulations RESPONSIBILITIES We will provide you with the tools needed for the job. You are expected to complete the daily maintenance checklist, which includes the following duties: + Filtering oil fryers + Maintaining outside grounds; picking up trash, power washing, snow blowing, shoveling snow + Cleaning a variety of equipment + Cleaning windows + Cleaning and organizing the stock room, cooler, and freezer + Emptying trash receptacles + Changing light bulbs + Changing HVAC filters + Cleaning debris or ice off the roof + Sweeping/mopping floors to remove debris and spills + Cleaning restrooms + Identifying and communicating opportunities pertaining to equipment cleanliness and repair needs + Prepare the restaurant for truck deliveries and put products away after truck delivery. The list above is not exhaustive, as required duties may change or be added depending on the restaurant's needs.
