Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
• Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather and analyze requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of mainframe programs and batch jobs.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup procedures for mainframe systems.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Must-Have Skills:
• 4+ years relevant experience in Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, JCL.
• Experience with Treasury Management exp ARP in (Specifically SMS) and/or Control Disbursement systems.
• Expertise in Zeke scheduler and Fileaid.
• Hands on experience with webservice integration is preferred.
• Knowledge to use CICS analysis and performance tool like TMON is desirable.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of data classification and tagging frameworks.
