Our client, a hedge fund that is rapidly increasing their office footprint, is currently in need of a responsible and energetic individual for a Temp to Perm Mailroom Generalist in their Stamford, CT office. This position requires 5 days in the office from the hours of 8:00/8:30 AM - 4:30/5:00PM daily. The successful candidate will support the firm's Mailroom operations as needed. The individual will be responsible for many facilities procedures and protocols, and take ownership of a variety of mailroom tasks, while simultaneously providing exceptional customer service. The following responsibilities and duties are subject to change at any time based on business and client needs at management's discretion. Pay rate $27-28/hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Schedules and prioritizes all mailroom services.Receives, delivers, and processes interdepartmental and external (U.S., international) mail, parcels, and othermaterials.Operates mailroom equipment including print/copy machines, postage processing and document insertion equipment; performs basic maintenance as needed.Maintains and develops records for billing, inventory, mailing, and parcel shipping.Orders materials and supplies needed for all client departments.Is responsible for the maintenance of supply levels and equipment in Print/Copy Rooms throughout the office space.Develops and maintains relationships with vendors, departmental customers, and other related individuals.Develops and maintains relationships with co-workers, communicating and interacting effectively at all levels, including with high-profile individuals and all levels of management.Assists in planning, set-up, and coordination of events.Executes on administrative and other duties as assigned.Assists with coordinating internal office moves to ensure a smooth and efficient process.Supervises landscaping activities to ensure the grounds are maintained.Manages and tracks IT inventory to maintain accurate records and ensure equipment availability.Partners with engineers to resolve service requests and maintain office standards.

Compensation/Benefits:
