We are seeking a team-oriented individual who is willing to step in and assist with whatever is necessary to deliver next‑level customer service. This position is primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, and delivering mail and packages to customers across a large campus.
Deliveries may require the use of a company‑issued van, golf cart/buggy, and/or hand truck. Additional responsibilities may include document preparation for digital imaging, scanning, data entry, and face‑to‑face customer interactions.
This position reports directly to the Site Manager and will be part of a 7‑member team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Receive packages from Amazon, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers Scan packages into the tracking system to establish a chain of custody Deliver packages to customers as needed Operate a company van, golf cart, and/or hand truck to complete deliveries Demonstrate ability to use and understand cell phones, applications, and PCs Perform document preparation for digital imaging projects Digitally image customer documents Perform duties related to the receiving of materials Occasionally perform shipping, receiving, and dock work in a mailroom environment Ensure accurate data capture for Ricoh MOR, SPG, and job logs Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications) High school diploma or GED required 1–2 years of related work experience required Prior copy or mailroom experience preferred May require a valid driver’s license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge and understanding of shipping and receiving procedures Basic electronics knowledge preferred Ability to work independently and flexibly to complete assigned projects Ability to determine appropriate packing methods and materials Ability to review packing slips for accuracy of incoming materials Ability to comprehend instructions related to mail delivery Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands Frequent exposure to copier and fax machine noise, toner, and varying room temperatures Possible exposure to paper cuts when handling paper and opening boxes Exposure to various weather conditions when walking between buildings Daily telephone and in‑person interaction with customers, employees, managers, and dispatch personnel Occasional contact with vendors and equipment repair personnelThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this role.
