**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Mail Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the mailroom operations for a building or campus.
This job is part of the Office Operations function. They are responsible for providing office support to a client, business function or individual contributor.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Supervise personnel assigned to mail services. This includes establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, cross-training staff to perform shipping/receiving duties as back-up, and evaluating and developing performance.
+ Conduct personnel meetings as necessary about safety, procedures, and operations.
+ Maintain records of the mailing costs incurred by each business unit or department and implement cost savings programs and procedures to increase efficiency.
+ Maintain policy and procedural manuals for mailroom operations. Recommend changes and inform mailroom personnel of changes made.
+ Monitor on-line production/copy requests, set up conference rooms for client meetings, answer telephones and take messages in a professional manner.
+ Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
+ May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
+ Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
+ Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
+ In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
+ Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Excellent organizational skills with a master- level inquisitive mindset.
