Confirms Witness Subpoenas are mailed and sent to Civil Process Officers (CPOs) in a timely manner. #oj Minimum Requirements + At least 18 years of age. + Must be able to comprehend and communicate fluently in verbal and written English. + U.S. Citizen or possess a current permanent resident card. + Clean criminal history; any arrest history will be individually evaluated. + No illegal drug usage within the past year. Other drug usage will be evaluated on a case by case basis. + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND six (6) months experience with mail, courier, or delivery operations preferred. + Must have valid Florida driver’s license. + Must attend and successfully complete the agency sponsored Law Enforcement Vehicle Operations (LEVO) Training if assignment includes driving agency vehicle. Use of agency vehicle would require appropriate driving history and passing agency biennial driver’s physical exam. + Must successfully complete mail handling on the job training within six (6) months. + Ability to retrieve mail daily at the Post Office. Sort all mail (including inter-office mail) and determine where to route mail. + Ability to deliver mail and pick up mail at each section of the agency. Maintain schedules and routes. + Ability to operate the postage machine which calculates and applies postage for outgoing mail according to weight and classification. Troubleshoot postage machine and contact vendor if necessary. + Ability to utilize specialized software (STAMPS program) to sort and separate subpoenas for mailing and/or CPO delivery. + Ability to continually watch for suspicious mail.
