Mail Associate Driver (part time 12pm-5pm)

Part time position: Monday - Friday 12pm-5pm

\n

Responsibilities:\n

\u2022 Handle all materials received in the Mail Center (receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.).
\u2022 Deliver, pickup, and transport materials within, between, to, and from various departments and buildings.
\u2022 Vehicle maintenance tracking; Take vehicle for oil change, wash, inspection, tires, etc.
\u2022 Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.
\u2022 Pickup outbound boxes and packages from internal customer locations.
\u2022 Ability to sort items into categories according to established methods.
\u2022 Prepare items for processing, shipment or transportation.
\u2022 Enter activity data in logs, maintain records. EOM volume reporting.
\u2022 Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times, including vehicle safety.
\u2022 Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment (such as FedEx).
\u2022 Ability to cross train on other roles within department; responsible for carrying out other duties as appropriate due to staff absences or at the discretion of management.
\u2022 Other duties as assigned by manager.\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a mailroom environment or with courier\/logistics companies such as FedEx, Amazon, or UPS.\nPreferred: 2-5 years of Mail\/Print Services experience with knowledge of standard Office Services procedures.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (1-3 years of experience preferred).\nDemonstrated ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive materials with discretion.\nStrong customer service skills with a proactive, \"can-do\" attitude.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.\nProven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail.\nPhysically capable of prolonged standing, frequent walking, pushing heavy carts, and handling mail carts, hand carts, and flatbeds.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\n\n
