As a Magnetizer, you will be responsible for the tumble and washing of magnets, assembling small to large pieces, and working from blueprints and customer specifications. You will also calibrate and operate magnetizing/demagnetizing equipment and presses, utilize calipers and other measuring equipment, and maintain proper documentation. This role requires keen hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes two shifts: 1st shift runs from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Fridays, with potential for extended hours. The 2nd shift operates from 3:00 PM to 12:15 AM Monday through Thursday and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Fridays. The role involves standing all day in a production setting, primarily working alone in a climate-controlled environment. Employees may work in areas with excessive noise, but ear protection is available. There is exposure to industrial oils, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesives, and other chemicals, with all necessary safety precautions in place.
