Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist with experience in working with lathes, milling, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating various shop tools and machinery, and capable of cutting parts and metal pieces efficiently.
Responsibilities
Operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, and bench grinders.Utilize power drills, hammers, and band saws effectively.Perform machining tasks using lathe and milling machines.Understand and interpret blueprints for machining projects.Ensure accurate measurements using calipers and micrometers.Lift and handle items weighing up to 50+ pounds.Essential Skills
Previous experience with lathe or milling operations.Proficiency in using basic band saws, lathes, power presses, and drill presses.Strong understanding of machining and blueprint interpretation.Ability to perform precise measurements with calipers and micrometers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a CNC Machinist.Experience as a Milling or Lathe Machinist.Work Environment
This position is based in a shop located in La Vergne, requiring the handling of various fabrication equipment and tools. The role involves physical activities including lifting heavy items, and working with machinery in a dynamic workshop setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
