**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** As a Machinist, you will work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models to ensure precision and quality in machining operations. You will inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools. Additionally, you will determine and correct complex machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance and cleaning, and communicate effectively with team members. **Responsibilities** + Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. + Inspect machining operations and finished products using precision measuring tools. + Determine and correct complex machine malfunctions. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. + Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation. + Learn, set up, and run various machines including CNC machines. + Perform deburring and machine setup. + Operate older style CNC machines, setting up, calibrating, and operating machines used in production processes. + Perform grinding, machine operation, and programming tasks. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal. + Solve practical problems and handle various work situations. + Make basic math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Adhere to all health and safety requirements including 5S responsibilities. + Flexibility and reliability, including good focus and attendance. + Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as twisting, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking repetitively. + Work with oils, coolants, and lubricants. + Lift up to 50 pounds. + Use inspection equipment, including calipers, indicators, and tape measures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in troubleshooting, change over, and machine operating. + Knowledge of CNC setup and operation. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a temperature-controlled environment with no waiting period for PTO or benefits.
