Our client, an innovative manufacturing organization specializing in high-precision engine components, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the assembly and machining operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong mechanical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Pay Range: $23.5

Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, with possible overtime and occasional weekend work

What's the Job?

Complete assembly and disassembly of cylinder blocks during machining processes Set up and operate cylinder hone machines to meet drawing specifications Perform mechanical sub-assembly of cylinder heads Use precision measuring tools to verify component installation accuracy Coordinate with quality control to ensure part quality standards are met

What's Needed?

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; relevant experience is a plus Proficiency with power deburr tools (air and electric) and attachments Ability to interpret blueprints and technical instructions accurately Experience with measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers Strong mechanical aptitude and previous experience in a production environment
