Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

As a Machinist, you will perform CNC machining tasks, including setting up and operating manual and CNC mills/lathes, manual machines, drill presses, and grinders. You will also engage in conversational programming on CNC machines and interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications. The role requires changing out tooling and making necessary adjustments or edits to the machine.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual mills/lathes and other machinery.Perform conversational programming on CNC machines.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications.Change out tooling and perform adjustments/edits to the machine.

Essential Skills

Experience in CNC machining.Proficiency in reading blueprints, work orders, or written instructions.Ability to utilize a tape measure effectively.

1+ years of experience in CNC machining.1+ years of experience in conversational programming.1+ years of experience in reading blueprints and work orders.1+ years of experience in using a tape measure.

Work Environment

Join a small, safety-oriented company with 36 employees that fosters a family-like environment. Work hours are from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 6:30 am to noon on Friday. Employees are required to wear jeans, shirts, and steel-toed boots, and PPE such as eye protection and hearing protection is supplied.

This is a Permanent position based out of Austin, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $64480.00/yr.
