CNC Operator – Aerospace Industry (2+ Years Recent CNC Experience)
Location: Union Gap, WA Pay Rate: $21.36 – $25.00/hr Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Overtime: Occasional OT required (Paid at 1.5x)
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join a premier aerospace manufacturing group in Union Gap. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a safety-focused environment that specializes in high-precision components for the aviation industry.
Mandatory RequirementsRecent Experience: At least 2 years of professional CNC operation experience within the last 3 years.
Technical Skills: Must be proficient in operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and specifications.
Job Stability: A proven track record of longevity in previous roles.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC equipment including mills, lathes, water jets, and/or 5-axis routers.
Perform basic CNC program edits, including offsets and tool heights.
Verify that CNC programs accurately match technical prints.
Inspect finished parts using precision tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) to ensure strict tolerances.
Troubleshoot setup and production issues as they arise.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math/computer skills.
Clear English communication skills.
Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screening.
