Join our dynamic machine shop team to fabricate parts essential for pressure vessel manufacturing. As a machinist, you will expertly operate a variety of machines including manual mills, lathes, and vertical turning lathes, as well as a 2.5 axis drill. Your role includes maintaining a clean work environment by managing metal shavings and performing preventative maintenance on equipment.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled metal fabrication environment, with a commitment to flexibility for family schedules. Peak seasons in July and December require 50-hour work weeks. Training hours are Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 6 am to 3:30 pm. Regular work hours are Monday to Thursday from 5:30 pm to 6 am, and Friday from 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
