Job Description
We are seeking skilled machinists to operate a variety of CNC Mills and machinery to produce parts for airplane landing gear. The role involves setting up machines for low-volume parts, ranging in size from medium to large, ensuring tight tolerances of +/- .001.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC Mills and other machinery to machine parts for airplane landing gear.Perform 1 to 2 machine set-ups per day.Machine low-volume parts, sizes ranging from 4 to 6 feet.Maintain tight tolerances of +/- .001.Manage machine control, including pulling and sending programs, tool changes, and entering tool and D-Comp offsets.Interpret setup sheets and tool lists.Calculate offsets and adjust cutting pressures.Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers for quality inspections.Essential Skills
3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a job shop setting.Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and setup sheets to run machines independently.3+ years of experience in performing quality checks on parts using micrometers and calipers.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
You will work in a shop environment equipped with advanced machinery, including CNC Lathes, CNC Gap Lathes, Millturns, CNC Mills with 3, 4 & 5 axes, CNC Bridge Mills, and CNC Boring Mills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.
