Job Title: CNC MachinistJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating 3 and 5-axis CNC Mills, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained while producing machined parts. The position is based in a shop specializing in aluminum and plastic parts, where the size of the job varies depending on the order.

ResponsibilitiesPlan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans.Program mills using MasterCAM, setting tool registers and offsets.Set up mills and lathes, installing and adjusting necessary components.Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.Verify settings by measuring positions and sample workpieces.Maintain specifications by observing various machining operations.Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.Document actions by completing production and quality logs.Set up machines, produce parts, and troubleshoot machine adjustments.Inspect parts and create or edit existing prints.Reverse engineer parts and maintain a clean work area.
Essential SkillsExperience programming 3 and 5-axis mill machines using MasterCAM.Understanding of MasterCam and/or CamWorks.Strong machining skills, including CNC lathe and CNC mill operations.Proficient in programming and troubleshooting CNC machines.

Work Environment

The work environment is a standard machine shop with exposure to metal and plastic shavings, coolants, and other chemicals. It is an indoor setting, although not climate-controlled. The position is on the first shift, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW HOLLAND, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.

The company offers 401k, medical benefits, and PTO. Vacation increases with tenure.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in NEW HOLLAND,PA.
