**Job Title: Machinist** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist to operate and maintain lathes, mills, drills, saws, and CNC machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will excel in manual machining and have a strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics with accuracy. Responsibilities + Set up and run lathes, mills, drills, saws, and CNC machines to produce parts to specification. + Interpret and read technical blueprints and schematics accurately. + Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. + Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on machinery to ensure smooth operation. + Inspect finished parts for quality control and document any discrepancies. + Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve machining processes. + Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in machining (lathe, mill, drill, saw). + Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC programming. + Proficient in shop math and precision measurement. + High school diploma required; vocational training or associate degree preferred. + Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with manual machining techniques. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation. + Knowledge of precision grinding and fabrication techniques.
