Job Title: Manufacturing Machinist

Job Description

As a Machinist, you will operate and set up a variety of machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills to produce high-precision metal or plastic parts. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand dimensions and tolerances. You will select and install the correct cutting tools, measure and inspect parts, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality control.

Essential SkillsExperience with CNC, lathes, mills, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in machine operation and setup.Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.Experience with CNC machines, particularly Fanuc control.Knowledge of horizontal and vertical mill machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas, Hwacheon, g-code, m-code, and CNC programming.Great attitude and willingness to learn.Strong measuring skills and blueprint reading capabilities.Work Environment

You will work in a machine shop environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, though efforts are being made to install AC units. The building is older and crowded, but the experience of working with various machines makes it worthwhile.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
