Join our esteemed machine shop as a Machinist, where you will contribute to the machining, fabricating, and assembly of custom metal products integral to our cabinet business. We are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and innovative solutions.
ResponsibilitiesLead and support day-to-day operations of the Machine Shop within the Metal Department.Oversee and collaborate with a team of skilled machinists and welders, including one experienced Machinist, one Engineer, and three welders.Manage workflow, prioritize projects, and ensure the timely delivery of precision components.Operate and maintain CNC/manual machining equipment such as the Bridgeport Mill, manual lathe, and Prototrak CNC Mill.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to interpret blueprints and develop effective solutions.Ensure quality control standards are met or exceeded.Champion a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Continuously evaluate and improve shop processes for efficiency and accuracy.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience as a machinist with strong working knowledge of both manual machinery (Mills and Lathes) and CNC Mills.Proven leadership ability and experience in a supervisory role preferred.Deep understanding of metal fabrication, machining techniques, and materials.Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and CAD files.Strong organizational and communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC programming, particularly Mastercam.Commitment to craftsmanship and continuous improvement.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
