Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist who can independently manage machine setups and operations. This role requires a strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprints. Proficiency with Fanuc Controls is essential. The ideal candidate will be ready to start with minimal training or direction.
ResponsibilitiesPerform setups and runs on CNC mill machines independently.Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.Utilize measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.Operate machines using Fanuc Controls.Work with a two-machine cell setup, including live milling tooling and twin spindle operations.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.Proficiency with Fanuc Controls.Experience with 3 Axis Mill and Mill Turn operations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong understanding of G Codes and M Codes.Must have own tools, including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and wrenches.

Work Environment
This position is based in a smaller, climate-controlled machine shop, operating on a first shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm with additional opportunities for overtime. Employees are expected to wear jeans, a T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The company fosters a team-oriented culture where collaboration and helping each other is encouraged.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
