**Machinist** **Omaha, NE | $25 - $35/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a career-minded machinist to join our manufacturing team in Omaha. This role involves working with both manual and CNC machines, including lathes and mills. The machinist will assist with daily production, machine setup, and special customer projects, handling a variety of materials and components. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate manual lathes and mills as well as CNC vertical machining centers and lathes. + Perform progressive machining operations on close-tolerance parts. + Collaborate with production teams to meet scheduling and quality goals. + Report unsafe conditions and follow safety protocols. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. **Essential Skills** + Experience with both manual and CNC machining. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + CNC programming skills. + Familiarity with machining processes including mill and lathe operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with 4-axis controllers is a plus. + Team-oriented with good communication skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance packages.
