Our client, a family-owned and operated manufacturing business, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the production of drill rods, stabilizers, adaptors, and various drilling parts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Machinist **Location:** Big Run, PA **Pay Range:** $18 **Shift:** Dayshift, 6 am – 4:30 pm **What's the Job?** + Follow managers' direction to read CAD prints, program machines, and machine parts for orders ranging from 1 to 10+ pieces. + Manage workload in accordance with due dates and foreman’s directions. + Maintain a clean work area and machine for optimal production times. + Gauge threads and ensure precision in machining processes. + Collect pieces for machining and move completed work to subsequent workstations using overhead cranes or forklifts. **What's Needed?** + 5-10 years of experience in CNC and manual machining. + Ability to read tape measures and micrometers accurately. + Strong safety orientation and adherence to safety protocols. + Willingness to undergo a 7-year background check and a 6-panel oral drug screen. + Ability to work full days with optional overtime. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a stable, family-owned business. + Gain experience in a variety of machining processes. + Work in a clean and organized environment. + Be part of a supportive team that values your contributions. + Potential for transition from temporary to full-time employment.
