Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist with expertise in Swiss machine operation and blueprint reading. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, troubleshooting, and programming using Solidworks.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and set up Swiss machines efficiently.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Perform troubleshooting and machine adjustments as required.Conduct changeovers and ensure mechanical operations run smoothly.Utilize programming skills, including Solidworks, for machining tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading blueprints.Machine operating experience.Troubleshooting expertise.Swiss machine operation skills.Ability to set up and operate mechanical systems.Programming skills, particularly in Solidworks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Understanding of tolerances and precise measurements.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethel, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
