**đź”§ Job Description**
The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC and manual lathes and mills to produce components. Candidates should have prior knowledge of machining and be capable of learning to operate company-specific equipment after a training period.
**đź“‹ Responsibilities**
+ Operate and maintain CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
+ Set up machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and materials.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
+ Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
+ Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
+ Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**🛠️ Essential Skills**
+ Proven experience as a machinist, with expertise in both CNC and manual machining.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, and equipment.
+ Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
**🎓 Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Located in a machine shop with about 5 employees; the full site includes ~100 manufacturing staff.
+ Non-temperature controlled facility (cold in winter, hot in summer).
+ Older manufacturing equipment and environment.
+ Friendly, supportive, and close-knit team atmosphere.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.
