Job Title: Machinist
Job Description

The Machinist will set up and operate basic shop tools and equipment, including drill press, manual milling machine, surface grinder, tool room lathe, and CNC machinery. The role involves producing machine parts within acceptable quality and job time standards.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC milling machine.Draw necessary tooling and/or fixtures for machine panels and set up and run 4th axis on CNC.Follow written or verbal set up instructions.Meet quality and job time standards.Perform secondary operations such as edge breaking, hand deburring, installation, and various hand operations.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Continuously improve products and processes and participate in quality improvement teams when appropriate.Ensure on-time delivery to the customer by maintaining productivity and following department schedules.Accurately complete all related paperwork and scanning functions.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating drill press, table saw, sanders, sonic welder, CNC milling machines, manual mill, and lathe.Excellent hand/eye coordination.Strong shop math skills, blueprint reading skills, and knowledge of proper feeds and speeds using various materials.Ability to read and understand routings and PB’s in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2 years of previous machine shop experience.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
