Job Title: CNC Machinist | 1st Shift | $25-$31/HR

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate, set up, program, and edit CNC machines in a job shop environment, focusing primarily on milling machines. You will work with Fanuc and MasterCam, utilizing G&M Code, and will be responsible for machining on various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc with very thin tubing material.

ResponsibilitiesOperate, set up, program, and edit CNC machines, primarily mills.Utilize Fanuc and MasterCam for job completion.Read and interpret blueprints and perform precision measurements using calipers and micrometers.Conduct machining on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc, particularly thin tubing materials.Perform machine edits, set-ups, tear downs, tool changes, and basic machine maintenance.Create parts for machines in a job shop setting, involving daily set-ups.Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years CNC machining experience with mills and manuals.Proficiency in machine set-ups and understanding the complete machining process.Experience with machine program edits and understanding G&M code.Familiarity with Fanuc or similar controls.Ability to read blueprints and maintain tolerancing using micrometers and calipers.Possession of a diploma or GED.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.75/hr.
