**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines and other production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain CNC machines as well as other production equipment such as shear cutters, hydraulic presses, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and stamping presses. + Perform machine setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient and quality production. + Conduct tests, analyses, and calibrate assemblies in accordance with company policies and safety procedures. + Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to maintain peak performance. + Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, job travelers, and manuals to meet specifications. + Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers) to verify product quality and ensure production items meet tolerance and specification requirements. + Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards. + Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment. + Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, which may include working nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary. + Set up and operate conventional machining tools like lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other manually controlled equipment. + Understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining sequence and requirements. + Choose appropriate cutting tools, adjust speeds and feeds, and ensure proper tool setups. + Identify and resolve issues with machines and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning. + Maintain a clean and efficient workstation while maintaining safety standards and production efficiency levels. + Keep machine tools clean and in good working order. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of machine experience. + At least 1 year of blueprint reading experience. + ITAR compliance. + Ability to read and communicate in English. + High School Diploma required; BA/BS required for leadership roles. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with punch press, machine operation, blueprint reading, and machine operating. + Experience with press machines, lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, and precision measuring tools. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy abundant parking, including gated rooftop parking with badge access entrance directly into the building. This is a second shift position with a training period on the first shift. The second shift runs Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, while the first shift is Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The assignment is temporary to hire, lasting approximately 90 working days (around 4 months). Attendance is crucial, and tenure is highly considered. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
