**Position: CNC Mill Machinist** **Location:** Liberty Lake, Washington **Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire **Position Summary** We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce both production and prototype parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes. **Key Responsibilities** + Set up CNC milling machines for both established and prototype parts. + Perform tool changes, make offsets, and run production parts to specification. + Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining. + Develop and document new work instructions for prototype components. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling, programming, and equipment. + Edit and adjust CNC programs directly on the shop floor to maintain quality standards. **Required Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + 2–5+ years of experience in CNC mill setup and operation. + Proficient in reading blueprints and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). + Familiarity with G-code, Mazatrol, and other machine tool controls. + Strong math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances. **Preferred Skills** + Experience with Haas machines and calipers. + quality assurance and control. + Ability to use CAD software for prototype development. **Work Environment** + Clean, temperature-controlled machine shop. + Comfortable and well-maintained workspace with access to a gym and snack room. **Why Join Us?** + Work in a supportive and collaborative environment. + Enjoy excellent facilities and a strong focus on work-life balance. + Be part of a team that values your skills and encourages professional growth. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
