**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** Join a premier Maine-based company as a talented Machinist. You will operate various CNC and manual machining equipment, responsible for the complete setup and operation of the mill. In this role, you will assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts, requiring attention to detail as you work with high-quality, expensive parts. Stocking your station, remaining on task, following SOPs, and reading blueprints are essential duties. **Responsibilities** + Operate various CNC and manual machining equipment. + Complete setup and operation of the mill. + Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts. + Maintain attention to detail with high-quality parts. + Stock station and remain on task. + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Read and interpret blueprints. **Essential Skills** + Experience with lathe and machining. + Ability to program machinery. + Proficiency in using micrometers and micrometres. + Manual machining experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Lean Manufacturing experience. + Previous manual machining experience preferred. + Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. + Ability to operate multiple axis milling machines. + Comfortable standing on feet for 8-10 hours. **Why Work Here?** This direct hire position offers great benefits and room for growth, as the company has doubled in size over the last 10 years.
