**Job Title: Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled machinists to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various machines, including mills, lathes, and combination machines. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, using measuring instruments, and potentially setting up machines. **Responsibilities**
+ Operate mills, lathes, and other machines such as waterjets and grinders.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
+ Set up machines and perform operations as required.
+ Load programs, slugs, and ensure machines are dimensionally correct.
+ Check and inspect parts, adjusting machines as necessary.
+ Keep accurate count of parts produced, scrap, and tool breaks.
+ Meet performance metrics with support and training from team leads.
+ Communicate effectively with team leads regarding any issues.
+ Check for tool wear and replace tools as needed.
+ Hold tolerances between +/- .2 and +/- .0005, working mostly with steel and aluminum.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of CNC experience and setup knowledge.
+ Proficiency in using standard measuring tools such as micrometers and drop gauges.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with G&M code and Fanuc controls.
+ Familiarity with 3-4 axis mills and lathes.
+ CMM experience is helpful but not required.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
+ Attention to detail, attitude, aptitude, and attendance.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
