Job Description
Join our team as a Machining Technician where you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of various machines in both secondary and primary operations across all manufacturing departments. You will load machines with raw parts, unload finished parts, debur, grind, and conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate various machines in manufacturing departments.Load machines with raw parts and unload finished parts.Debur and grind finished parts.Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality.Assist in machine setup according to work orders and standard procedures.Learn the setup and operation of new machines added to assigned departments.Check parts with standard gauges or precision measuring instruments.Submit parts for inspection as required.Operate machines to ensure proper functioning and instruct operators on procedures to produce parts in conformance with specifications.Perform SPC charting as required.Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area on a daily basis.Work Environment
Work in a dynamic machine manufacturing shop, with shifts available: 1st shift from 4am to 12:30pm and 2nd shift from 4pm to 12:30am. Embrace a collaborative environment where safety and organization are priorities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
