Machining Supervisor

**Description**
The structural steel Plate Processing/Machine Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Plate Processing department; ensuring the department is operating successfully, meeting quality standards, staying on schedule, and staying within budget.
This role involves supervising production staff, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Working knowledge of, but not limited to, the following equipment:
Tecoi Lazer, THOR, Teknos 32 & Turret, Teknos 73, Viking

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
-Experience: 5–10 years operating CNC plasma, laser, and gang oxy cutting machines; skilled in setup, cutting, beveling, and drilling plate material.
-Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of CNC functions and precision adjustments for clean, accurate cuts.
-Leadership: 3+ years in supervisory roles with strong team management and motivational skills.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
-Fabrication Knowledge: Proficient in steel fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
-Safety & Compliance: Well-versed in safety regulations and procedures.
-Communication: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and reporting skills.
-Operational Skills: ERP system proficiency; effective in fast-paced environments with multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
-Attention to Detail: High standards for precision and quality control.

Must be willing to relocate to Olean Ny that's where the job is located. Relocation package offered.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
