**Job Title: Machine Technician** **Job Description** The Machine Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting production machinery. This role involves operating carton flow related equipment according to established procedures and guidelines, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly. **Responsibilities** + Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve detected problems. + Conduct changeovers from one format to another. + Execute necessary pre-operation activities for proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment. + Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality production and minimize unplanned stops. + Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials. + Perform basic preventative maintenance on packaging machines and assist in troubleshooting machine-related issues. + Report food safety and quality issues to Plant Management. + Maintain cleanliness and safety of machines and the area. + Adhere to standardized work procedures and safe work practices. + Focus on a continuous improvement environment. + Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Mechanical skills + Packaging experience + Changeover expertise + Experience with hand tools for setting up packaging lines + Ability to troubleshoot packaging lines + Mechanically inclined for light adjustments and repairs + Production knowledge + Preventive maintenance skills + Machine setup proficiency **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic math and computer skills + Fluent reading, speaking, and writing in English + Spanish language fluency and/or knowledge is a plus **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that offers appreciation events and free snacks.
