**Job Title: Journeyman Machine Repair Technician** **Job Description** Join a rapidly growing team at a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled facility. As a Journeyman Machine Repair Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions with production, packaging, and filling equipment. You will have the opportunity to fabricate parts using tool room equipment when necessary. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions with production and packaging equipment. + Fabricate parts using tool room equipment when necessary. + Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. + Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. + Maintain a valid driver's license. + Be available for overtime and on-call work as needed. **Essential Skills** + Journeyman Card in Toolmaking, Tool & Die, Machining, or Machine Repair. + High School Diploma. + Experience with tool room equipment such as Bridgeports, Manual Lathes, Surface Grinders, and Drill Presses. + Experience troubleshooting conveyors and automated equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in welding. + Strong communication skills. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a union position with the United Steel Workers Union and amazing benefits from day one, including premier medical, dental, and vision coverage. The tool room is older, featuring equipment from the 1980s. This is a union environment with shifts from 3pm to 11:15pm and 11pm to 7:15am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of ROCHESTER, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $108222.40 - $115797.97/yr.
