**Job Title: Machine Repair Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced tool and die repair technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery in both the press and tool room. With over 7 years of experience, you will be expected to hit the ground running and effectively manage the maintenance and repair of dies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
+ Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
+ Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
+ Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
+ Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
+ Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
+ Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
+ Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
+ Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
+ Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
+ Record repairs and maintenance performed.
+ Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
+ Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
+ Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
+ Troubleshoot electrical systems in both low and high voltage.
+ Read ladder logic and PLC logic controls.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and press repair.
**Essential Skills**
+ 7+ years in an industrial automotive maintenance facility.
+ 3-5+ years working in a stamping facility on presses ranging from 600 - 1000.
+ Experience with progressive, transfer, and tandem presses.
+ Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
+ Mechanical knowledge including conveyors, pumps, and valves.
+ Welding and fabricating skills.
+ Fanuc robot troubleshooting, including editing, homing, and teaching pendants.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V).
+ PLC troubleshooting (AB & Siemens).
+ Must have own toolbox with basic tools, steel toes, and safety glasses.

**Work Environment**
Work in an older stamping and robotic weld facility with 42 presses and robots. The building is located in Centerline and requires steel toes, safety glasses, and sleeves. Currently operating two shifts with a lean team, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Center Line, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $33.90 - $33.90/hr.
