**Job Title: Machine Repair Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Machine Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems on motors, PLCs, VFDs, and various machinery such as CNC, fabrication machines, and saws. You will collaborate closely with machinists to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing LOTO procedures to safely shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Additionally, 25% of your role will involve performing basic mechanical repairs on components like shafts and bearings.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform 75% electrical maintenance on motors, PLCs, VFDs, and machinery.
+ Collaborate with machinists to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Utilize LOTO procedures to safely shut down and troubleshoot equipment.
+ Conduct 25% of basic mechanical repairs on shafts, bearings, and other components.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of maintenance experience.
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs and 480v, 3-phase wiring.
+ 5+ years of experience using blueprints or schematics.
+ Experience with conduit, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Possession of a Journeyman card is highly beneficial and offers additional compensation.

**Work Environment**
This position operates on the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am, offering a $0.85 premium. Union environment ensures a structured and supportive workplace.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $76000.00/yr.
