Job Title: Machine Repair Technician

Job Description

As a Machine Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on stamping equipment and auxiliary machines. You will also assist with light electrical repairs when an electrician is unavailable and may have the opportunity to mentor an apprentice.

Must have Journeyman card

2nd shift 3pm-1am

5 to 6 days per week

ResponsibilitiesComplete mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on stamping equipment.Assist with light electrical repairs as needed.Repair hydraulic systems and components, as well as gearboxes and pneumatics.Work with blueprints to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.Work Saturdays and be available for overtime and weekends as needed.Essential SkillsMachine repair experience and some formal schooling.Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and component repair.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Possession of personal tools required for the job.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electrical troubleshooting and repair is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a well-maintained facility consisting of 18 progressive stamping presses and a large tool room. The majority of work is done on the floor at the machines. Work the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, six days a week. Dress code includes jeans or work pants, a provided work shirt, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and earplugs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63232.00 - $68972.00/yr.
