The Machine Parts Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and parts according to customer specifications and quality standards. This role ensures that all assemblies meet operational requirements and are delivered on time. This position is onsite in Marietta, OK.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
Assemble machine parts and components accurately and efficiently.
Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments during assembly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Knowledgeable of all purchased and manufactured parts and their applications.
Read a tape measure to 1/32” and do shop math.
Able to use hand tools, as well as use and maintain air tools.
Able to use calipers.
Instruct others in these skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical demands include walking, standing, sitting, bending, and carrying of light items up to 35 pounds. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time and to walk on a regular basis. May be exposed to operating machinery, adverse weather conditions, hazardous materials, flammable substances, and explosives. Protective equipment is often required when performing inspections. Ability to see close (20 inches or less), distance (20 feet or more), color (identify and distinguish). Loud Noise (metal manufacturing, large equipment). Able to work using eye protection, ear protection, and steel toe boots, all of which are required in the plant.
