Shift/Pay:

M-F 7 AM to 3:30 PM may be required to work OT until 5PM during busy seasons.$18-$20/hr based off of experience

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description: Required to work in the Cants division to manufacture fiberboard used for roofing materials. You will be responsible for operating a bandsaw and chop saw to cut boards to proper lengths and thickness. Additionally, you will measure boards to ensure they meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

Operate bandsaw and chop saw to cut fiberboard to specific lengths and thickness.Measure and stack boards according to specifications.Ensure boards meet customer specifications.

Essential Skills:

Experience in machine operation.Proficiency in operating bandsaw and chop saw.Ability to measure and stack boards accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1 year of manufacturing or construction experience.Experience with saws is preferred.

Work Environment:Manufacturing environment with hot and dusty conditions due to fiberboard cutting. Dress code includes work pants, work shirt, and boots. Safety glasses will be provided, and wearing a dust mask or sleeve over the mouth is recommended.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
