Responsibilities
Operate various machines at an advanced level, including press breaks, saws, drills, turret punch, laser, or shear, following standard operating procedures.Set up, program, and calibrate machines for production runs, ensuring all configurations meet product specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.Perform final quality checks on parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet all standards and customer specifications.Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machines, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product designs, production workflows, and equipment performance.Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance, and any corrective actions taken.Follow and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certification or associate degree in machine operation, engineering, or related field preferred.4+ years of experience in machine operations, preferably in press breaks, turrets, lasers, and shears.Expertise in machine programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Strong knowledge of machining techniques, including precision manufacturing and CNC operations.Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Strong leadership abilities, with experience training and mentoring junior staff.Commitment to quality control, safety, and continuous improvement.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with sheet metal that is cut, pressed, and punched to a strict tolerance.Proficiency in CNC machine operations.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Strong manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a modern, air-conditioned manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona, which includes electric charging stations and adheres to lean manufacturing principles. The work schedule is Friday to Sunday, 5 AM to 5 PM, with a 10% shift differential. Training is required Monday to Thursday, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM for one week. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed, and climb portable ladders. Personal Protection Equipment will be required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
