Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator -Quality & Inspection Dept to join their team. As a Machine Operator -Quality & Inspection Dept, you will be part of the Quality & Inspection Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Machine Operator -Quality & Inspection Dept**
**Location: Carroll, IA**
**Pay Range: $19.50**
**Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10pm**
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct inspections of products, parts, assemblies, raw materials, and tooling instruments to ensure compliance with design data requirements.
+ Use measuring and inspection instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers with proper techniques.
+ Perform receiving, in-process, final inspection, and 1st article approval of hardware and components.
+ Operate computer systems to document inspection results and verify accuracy of work order documentation.
+ Complete visual and physical inspections, including unit shakedowns to check for foreign objects, rattles, and loose hardware.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Must be a US Person.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality policies.
+ Basic knowledge of inspection tools and methods.
+ Willingness to work extended shifts and overtime as required.
