**2nd shift Laser Operator** Job Description As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating a laser machine, ensuring the correct program is run, and loading sheet metal into the machine for production. This role involves machine operation in a high-volume production environment. Responsibilities + Operate laser machines to ensure efficient and precise cutting of materials. + Verify the correct program is being run on the machine. + Load sheet metal into the machine for processing. + Participate in production processes as a machine operator. Essential Skills + 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. + Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication is preferred. + Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment. + Ability to read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders. + Skilled in using basic math and handheld measuring tools for material layout and loading. + Proficient in utilizing computer output from CAD/CAM systems. + Capable of entering instructions and setting up mills and lathes. + Knowledgeable in machine maintenance and re-work procedures. + Understanding of finished product characteristics. + Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with basic power tools and machinery. + Dexterity in handling manufacturing equipment. Why Work Here?
