Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to produce food colors following approved formulations and procedures. The role involves operating various equipment and ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment such as liquid emulsions, cookers, filtering press, various pumps, mixing equipment, kettle cooker, dry blender, evaporator, and forklift.Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of production and warehouse areas.Handle shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks.Complete Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) of emulsion plant equipment.Work with chemicals, including caustics and acids.Prepare product samples and complete necessary documentation.Collaborate with team members and leadership while primarily working independently.

Essential Skills

2+ years of machine operating experience at the same company.2+ years of general production work at the same company.Proficiency in machine operation, packaging, and troubleshooting.Ability to work independently in a GMP environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift certification.Ability to work with chemicals and hot materials.Capability to climb stairs and ladders.Physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach continuously throughout the day.Maintain coordination and balance while handling up to 55 lbs. of materials or products.
